What's up?

Following up from our inaugural Grain to Glass brewing session and the Oktoberfest/Halloween BBQ last October, we are ready to continue with Grain to Glass Session #2!

This session will again be led by our very own Andy Malcolm and Brett Pover who took top accolades at the iBrew Challenge last year.

This time our plan is to brew a club brew that we can enter at the iBrew 2024 competition this coming 20th April. As this will be a collective effort / club brew, it will be cool if we all have a vote into which beer style to brew. Therefore, in the google forms link below, among the questions is a section to add your style choice and if you think that beer style would pop with a secret ingredient!

Details:

A fee of $25 for members and $35 for non-members (to help cover costs) but if non-members sign up on the day  50% rebate on membership fee will be given. 

We do have limited spaces so sign up soon to avoid disappointment, however priority will be given to members until 28th Feb.

We have canned and draft beer available, while stocks last, and bites for lunch.

What's up?

Our last homebrewing session was way back in November 2019 pre-covid days.
Never too late, we are finally getting it back together with a BeerCurious Grain to Glass this month!

This session will be led and taught by our very own Andy Malcolm and Brett Pover who took top accolades at the iBrew Challenge earlier this year.

Club brewing Grain to pint session aimed at the curious craft beer enthusiast looking to understand and to engage in the hop and yeast conversations. For those who not knowing what’s involved and wish to discover more, hop on the hop wagon with yeast and grains as we move forward to an all-in-one system brewing experience.
An active session from setting up equipment, weighing ingredients, crushing grains, mashing, boiling, hop additions, cooling and transfer to fermenter.

As most of us who enjoys a good single malt whiskey knows,  it all starts with a good quality barley. So it makes sense that a beer brewery could start producing its own range of whiskey. This is just what Red Dot Brewery is doing at Dempsey, buried into the hillside behind the brewery is a cask conditioning cellar next to a copper pot still. Making Red Dot the first distillery to produce it's own whiskey in Singapore.

Established in 1997 run by Ernest Ng with his daughter Crystalla, who is Singapore’s first female certified brewmaster.

HamBaoBao first started life as a food stall located at Beauty World Food Centre in 2014.
Fans and supporters will be aware that after 5 years, they ended operations in 2019.
